A 12-year-old single malt from Glengoyne, bottled at 43% ABV. It is made entirely without peat, which is unusual in the Highlands, and the whisky is soft and fruity.
The nose has toffee apples, a little acacia honey, nectarine in syrup and spice, with roasted barley in the background. On the palate come overripe grapes, honey with hints of vanilla, coconut milk and oak spice, and light touches of chocolate ice cream. The finish is long and oily, with lingering coffee notes.
