Glengoyne – 12 Years

Glengoyne 12 Years is a Highland single malt and the current standard bottling from the distillery. It is golden in colour. Glengoyne was founded in 1833 and lies just north of Glasgow, the southernmost distillery in the Highlands. It uses only unpeated malt, and its water from the Campsie Fells never touches peat, so the whisky is entirely smoke-free, lightly sweet, clean and malty. The nose offers poached pear, oatcake and golden malt with oak spice. The palate brings vanilla, orange peel and crumbly digestive biscuit. The finish is drying oak.
