A 15 year old Highland single malt from Glengoyne, in a 70cl bottle at 43% ABV. It is unpeated, as the barley is dried with air during kilning. The character sits between sweet bourbon cask influence and rich, fruity sherry notes.
The nose is candied lemon and butterscotch, with creamy cereal sweetness, dried fruits and Demerara sugar. The palate is oily and rich, with toffee popcorn, salted butter and ground walnuts, then allspice, lemon rind and baked apple. The finish is oaky and malty.
