This is an 18 year old single malt from Glengoyne, aged for all of those years in carefully selected sherry casks.
The sherry maturation gives a rich character, with dark chocolate, dried fruits such as figs and raisins, spice and a hint of orange zest. The texture is rich and smooth.
The finish is long and warming, with lingering sweetness and a subtle spice.
