A Highland single malt from Glengoyne, aged 18 years. The distillery was founded in 1833 and uses only unpeated malt.
A generous part of the maturation took place in first-fill sherry casks, after a slow distillation. The colour is golden.
On the nose there are red apples, ripe melon and fresh banana, with hot porridge sweetened by brown sugar. The palate is full and rich, with soft fruit, marzipan and walnut, then warm spices and dry cocoa. The finish is long, warming and dry.
