This is a single cask Glengoyne, cask 2228, bottled privately for Alquis Aliquid Pron, an unnamed law society. It is one of 267 bottles, at 53.4% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. The whisky is 12 years old, comes from a European oak refill cask, and is natural colour and non-chill-filtered.
Glengoyne says its stills are the slowest in Scotland, giving the spirit more time in contact with the copper.
It is a fruity, complex whisky with notes of toffee, apple and vanilla spice.
