This is a 30 year old single malt from the Glengoyne distillery in the Highlands of Scotland, bottled at 46.8% in a 70cl bottle.
Glengoyne dries its malted barley without peat, which lets the natural sweetness of the malt come through. This bottling was matured in sherry casks of American and European oak, and is marked by deep sherried sweetness and a balanced oak influence.
