Glengoyne – Cask Strength Batch 10 (59.5%)

Glengoyne Cask Strength Batch 10 is a single malt from the Highlands distillery, bottled at 59.5%. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour. The batch was drawn from first-fill Oloroso sherry casks, refill casks and a few bourbon casks. The nose is soft stone fruit and baked apple with a touch of nutmeg, alongside creamy custard and malted milk biscuits. On the palate, layers of buttery toffee and citrus peel lead to syrupy fruited pancakes and banana bread. The finish carries soft oak and biscuity barley with juicy stone fruit, zesty citrus, nutmeg and cinnamon.
