This is the first edition of the Glengoyne Cask Strength series, launched in 2012. It is a Highland single malt bottled at a cask strength of 58.7% in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky was matured in first-fill sherry casks and refill sherry casks, which gives a lightly sweet Glengoyne with an intense flavour.
Biscuits, ripe bananas and candy cane come through, with a hint of pepper and spice.
