This is Glenkinchie 12 Year Old, a Lowland single malt bottled at cask strength, 58.7% ABV. It is a limited edition made for Diageo's Friends of the Classic Malts series.
The nose is raw and mineral, with floral and lemongrass notes and hints of valerian. The palate is powerful and intense, a sweet and sour wave with pepper, herbal and fruity undertones, cream, boiled condensed milk and light oak. The finish is dense and warming, with dried fruits, soft oak, apple jam and a touch of burnt biscuit.
