Glenlivet – Triple Cask Matured White Oak Reserve (1L, 40%)

Glenlivet Triple Cask Matured White Oak Reserve is a Speyside single malt bottled at 40% in a 100cl bottle. The Triple Cask series is now part of the distillery's core range and replaces the earlier Master Distiller's Reserve series. Malt from three types of cask, first-fill American white oak, bourbon and sherry, was married in differing proportions to make three whiskies. This one matured mostly in fresh American white oak casks. The nose is fruity and sweet with creamy caramel. The palate is silky and intense, honey-sweet with juicy pears, and the finish is balanced and complex.
