This is Glenmorangie 10 Years, a Highland single malt bottled at 40% in a 35cl bottle. Glenmorangie is a Highland distillery at Tain, and it has the tallest stills in Scotland.
On the nose, vanilla, toffee and honey form the base, with ripe, juicy fruit, almonds, citrus and caramel. The palate is soft and creamy, moving between sweet and spicy, with ginger, nutmeg, caramel, raisins and sugar. The finish is long, with cider apple, fruit and pepper.
