Glenmorangie 12 Year Old Palo Cortado is a Highland malt whisky in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 46%. It is a limited edition, matured in American white oak casks and then finished in Palo Cortado sherry casks.
On the palate it is marked by pronounced nuttiness, with Brazil nut, plum, sweet spice of ginger, cinnamon and nutmeg, milk chocolate, and a molasses and caramel character. The finish is long, nutty and spiced, with a slightly leathery edge.
