Glenmorangie Lasanta is a 12-year-old Highland single malt, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. The name is Gaelic and means warmth and passion.
The whisky spends its first ten years in ex-bourbon casks, then moves into Spanish Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez sherry casks for two more years.
The nose offers spice, milk chocolate with raisins, honeycomb and caramel toffee. The palate is spicy, with sweet raisins, warm sherry, orange pieces, walnuts and a little butterscotch. The finish is long, with spice, a hint of orange and chocolate-covered hazelnuts.
