Glenmorangie The Quinta Ruban is a 14 year old single malt Scotch whisky, sold here in a 75cl bottle. It spends its first ten years in American white oak ex-bourbon casks, then a further four years finishing in ruby port pipes and casks from Quinta wine estates in Portugal.
The nose offers mandarin orange, dark chocolate, mint and a touch of nutmeg. The palate has a thick texture, with walnut, dark chocolate-covered berries, Turkish delight and sweet wood spice. The finish is long and silky, leaving dark chocolate and orange zest.
