Glenmorangie A Tale of Spices is a Highland single malt released in 2025 as the sixth in the distillery's annual A Tale Of series, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It was inspired by spice markets around the world. Director of Whisky Creation Dr Bill Lumsden and Master Blender Gillian Macdonald divided bourbon-aged spirit and finished it in four types of cask: Moroccan red wine casks made from French oak, used by Glenmorangie for the first time, new charred oak, shaved and toasted red wine casks, and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. The nose is floral, with rose and jasmine alongside cumin, saffron, nutmeg and ginger. On the palate, ginger, black pepper and mustard seed meet mint toffee, demerara sugar and eucalyptus. The finish is long, peppery and fruit-led.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
