Glenmorangie – A Tale of the Forest

Glenmorangie A Tale of the Forest is a Highland single malt created by Dr Bill Lumsden, and the first Glenmorangie made with barley kilned with botanicals. Juniper, birch bark and heather flowers were used during the drying of the malted barley. The spirit was distilled in the distillery's tall stills and matured in oak casks. Artwork by the Thai illustrator Pomme Chan decorates the packaging. The nose is typically described as pine needles, coriander, juniper and soft smoke, with fresh herbs, a little citrus and a floral note. The palate brings eucalyptus, green herbs, bittersweet orange and heather honey. The finish is long, with soft wood and fine smoke.
