Glenmorangie – A Tale of Tokyo (70cl)

Glenmorangie A Tale of Tokyo is the fourth edition in the distillery's A Tale of series, in a 70cl bottle. It grew out of Dr Bill's fascination with the culture, fashion and food of Japan. After a decade of searching, he sourced casks of Mizunara oak, one of Japan's most prized woods. The label artwork is an illustration of Tokyo by the Japanese artist Yamaguchi Akira. The colour is a reddish bronze. The nose is pungent and herbal, with incense, toffee, beeswax, wood resin and cedar. The palate is peppery, with chewy oak, fennel, white pepper, tangy orange, bitter cherry and almond.
