Glenmorangie Legends Cadboll is a malt whisky in a 1 litre bottle at 43% ABV. It was given a further period of maturation in French barrique-sized wine casks that previously held wine made from muscat and sémillon grapes, which adds a sweet note to Glenmorangie's light flavour.
The name comes from the Cadboll Cup, an ornate wine cup made by Scottish and French craftsmen. It belonged to the MacLeod clan of Cadboll from the 16th century, and the clan is linked to the area that is home to the Glenmorangie distillery.
