Glenmorangie Nectar d'Or is a single malt Scotch whisky at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It develops in hand-selected wine barriques from Sauternes, the ancient sweet wine region of France, which give it rich, spicy, dessert-like flavours. It is non-chill-filtered.
The nose brings lime and orange rind, sultanas and dates, with coconut and nutmeg. On the palate, ginger, nutmeg and toasted almonds sit alongside syrupy lemon meringue and honeycomb. The finish is long and sweet, with lemon zest, white chocolate and vanilla.
