Glenmorangie Nectar D'Or is a single malt bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It was inspired by the memory of stepping into a pastry shop for the first time and being overwhelmed by sweet scents.
The whisky is aged in American oak bourbon casks together with casks that once held Sauternes sweet white wine.
The nose brings lemon tart, vanilla, lime and orange zest, then sultanas, dates, ginger and coconut. The palate offers warming gingerbread, nutmeg, toasted almonds, meringue and honeycomb. The finish is sweet and mellow, with lemon zest, vanilla cream and lingering ginger and nutmeg.
