Glenmorangie – Signet (70cl, 46%)

Signet is a Glenmorangie single malt in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 46% ABV. It starts with a chocolate malt spirit, made once a year in the distillery's very tall stills, and is then balanced with bourbon casks for creaminess, sherry casks for sweetness and virgin charred oak for spice. Some of the oldest whisky from Glenmorangie is part of the mix. The flavour is built around coffee and chocolate. It is described as bursts of bitter mocha, sizzling spice and waves of dark chocolate, softened by smooth butterscotch.
