Glenmorangie – Signet Single Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl, 46%)

Glenmorangie Signet is a Highland single malt made with a portion of roasted chocolate malt barley, an ingredient more often found in dark beers. It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is matured in a combination of casks that includes bespoke toasted oak and ex-bourbon barrels, and the distillery's tall copper stills shape its spirit. Tasting notes describe dark chocolate, espresso and roasted coffee bean on the nose with orange peel, cinnamon and vanilla cream. The palate shows mocha, chocolate truffle, baked plum and toffee, and the finish is long, with cocoa powder, roasted coffee and gentle spice.
