Glenmorangie Tayne is bottled at 43% in a one litre bottle.
It takes its story from a legend about a 16th-century Spanish galleon, laden with treasure, whose wreck is said to lie just off the coast near the Glenmorangie distillery. The ship was one of those lost near the Scottish coast as the Spanish Armada fled the English fleet.
The whisky was given a finishing maturation in carefully selected Amontillado sherry casks.
