Glenmorangie The Infinita is an 18 year old single malt Scotch whisky, in a 70cl bottle at 43% ABV.
It is made from two parts. Fifteen years in American white oak casks come first, then about 30% of that whisky moves into Spanish Oloroso casks for a further three years. Both parts reach 18 years before they are blended.
The nose is rich, rounded and sweet, with dried fruit and a floral fragrance. The palate balances honey, malt and flowery notes, with dates, figs and a hint of wood smoke behind. The finish is long, with dried fruit sweetness and the gentle dryness of Oloroso nuttiness.
