Glenmorangie The Lasanta is a 12 year old Highland single malt bottled at 43% ABV. It begins its maturation in ex-bourbon casks, then spends two years in Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, which add depth, sweetness and spice and give a ruby glow. The name is Gaelic for warmth and passion.
The nose offers raisins, roasted hazelnuts, honeycomb and dark chocolate, with clove and cinnamon. The palate is full, creamy and soft, with dried fruit, buttery caramel, orange and nuts. The finish is elegant, with warm spices and subtle herbs.
