Glenmorangie The Nectar is a 16 year old Highland single malt Scotch whisky in a 70cl bottle, supplied in a box. It is matured for 16 years in bourbon casks, then rested further in hand-selected casks that previously held sweet white wines. It is not chill-filtered, which gives a rich, soft taste.
In the glass it is a bright golden yellow. The nose suggests almonds and nuts, then melted butter, cream and honey. The palate is fresh and balanced, following the nose, with a long finish.
