Glenmorangie – The Nectar 16 Year Old

Glenmorangie The Nectar 16 Year Old is a single malt Scotch created by Dr Bill Lumsden, inspired by the memory of a French patisserie. Selected Glenmorangie whiskies spent 14 years in bourbon casks, then a further two years in a combination of sweet wine casks. The finishing casks are Sauternes and Monbazillac from France, Moscatel from Spain and Tokaji from Hungary. The French casks are linked to brioche, meringue and baked apple, the Moscatel to sweet, syrupy notes, and the Tokaji to white chocolate, honey and almond. The whisky has a golden colour and a silky texture.
