Glenmorangie The Original is a 12 year old Highland single malt, bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It matured in ex-bourbon casks.
The distillery was founded in 1843 by William and Anne Matheson, and it uses Scotland's tallest stills to make a light, fruity spirit.
The nose is fresh lemon zest and creamy vanilla with a hint of peach. On the palate come honeyed malt and stone fruit with a touch of orange, and the finish is light oak, sweet vanilla and soft spice.
