The Quinta Ruban is a 14 year old single malt Scotch whisky from Glenmorangie, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is non-filtered.
The whisky is first matured in Bourbon casks, then given an extra maturation, or finish, in Port casks. This gives the chocolate and mint character the expression is known for.
The nose brings rose-scented Turkish delight, honeysuckle, tangerines and dark chocolate. The texture is soft and velvety, with berries, nutmeg, mint chocolate and Seville orange, followed by a bold, deep finish.
