Glenmorangie The Tribute is a 16 year old single malt from the Highlands, with a light touch of peat. It looks back to the distillery's historic use of a peat kiln. It is a limited edition.
The whisky was matured entirely in ex-bourbon American oak casks and is built on the Glenmorangie house spirit, balancing faint peat smoke with orange peel, cream and vanilla.
The nose is floral, with fresh-cut grass, soft peat, charred oak, citrus and caramel. On the palate come vanilla, lemon zest, salted almonds and tobacco, with peat smoke throughout. The finish is sweet and gently spicy, with peat smoke and oak.
