Glenmorangie Triple Cask Reserve is a Highland single malt matured in three types of cask: ex-bourbon, new charred oak and rye whiskey casks. The bourbon casks bring vanilla and honey, the new oak adds depth and roasted nuts, and the rye casks add a gentle spice. It is bottled at 40% ABV.
The nose has ripe pear, candied orange, honeysuckle and a touch of clove. The palate is smooth, with honey, soft toffee, caramelised nuts and hints of spice. The finish is long and lightly warming, with floral and spicy accents.
