A 13 year old Speyside single malt from Glenrothes, distilled in 1989 and bottled in 2002 by the Scotch Malt Whisky Society as cask 30.38. It comes from a single sherry butt, which filled 289 bottles, and the whisky is dark in colour.
The bottle carries the Society's oldest label format, which ran from 1983 until 2006. This release went only to the USA, which is why it comes in a 75cl bottle rather than 70cl.
