Glenrothes 15 Years is a Speyside single malt, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It matured entirely in sherry-seasoned casks, mostly first-fill European oak, which gives it its natural colour. The Master Whisky Maker checks each cask personally before it is chosen for this bottling.
On the nose it is typically described as brown sugar, orchard fruit, spice, hazelnut, candied orange peel, maple syrup and oak. The palate brings pear, dark chocolate, baking spices, pecan and orange marmalade, and the finish is long, with spice and sweetness.
