This is an 18 year old Glenrothes single malt from Speyside, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. Its maturation takes place largely in first-fill, seasoned sherry casks.
The nose is of orange, oily notes, vanilla and almonds. On the palate it is sweet, with ginger, a little floral character, pear and vanilla. The finish is sweet and spicy, with a slight peppery edge.
