This is a 30 year old Glenrothes from Signatory Vintage's Symington's Choice range, distilled on 5 June 1995 and matured in a single first-fill Oloroso sherry butt, cask #6979.
It was bottled on 2 February 2026 at a natural cask strength of 54.6% ABV, without added colour or chill filtration. The cask yielded 487 bottles.
The nose is described as sultanas, figs, dark cherries and candied orange peel, and the palate as full-bodied and oily, with dried fruits, treacle, cocoa and sherry spice. The long finish brings dark fruit, walnuts, leather and warming spice.
