This is a 30 year old Glenrothes, a Speyside single malt chosen by Signatory Vintage for its Symington's Choice range. It was distilled in 1995 and spent three decades in a first fill Oloroso sherry butt before bottling in February 2026 at 54.6% ABV. The butt yielded 487 numbered bottles. The whisky is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. Long maturation in first fill Oloroso wood is described as bringing deep layers of dried fruit, chocolate and warming spice to the rounded, fruity character of Glenrothes.
