This is an independent bottling of Glenrothes from The Whisky Agency. It was distilled in 1989 and bottled in 2020 at 44.4%, after 31 years in a hogshead.
The outturn was 268 bottles.
The nose is elegant and floral, with pear, melon and apple, along with mineral notes and malt. The palate is very supple and well balanced, with flavours of cider, peach, honey and black tea. The finish is medium to long and refined, with touches of oak, salt and tobacco.
