This Glentauchers is a Signatory bottling from the 100 Proof Exceptional Cask series. It was distilled in 2009 and bottled in 2025 after 16 years in a first-fill Oloroso sherry butt. It is bottled at cask strength, 57.1% ABV, in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is intense, with ripe forest fruits, chocolate, oak and gentle spices. The palate starts sweetly with caramel, cherries and dates, balanced by Oloroso and spicy touches of chilli pepper and a little wood. The finish is medium in length, with dark chocolate, dark fruit and oak.
