This is a ten-year-old peated single malt from The Glenturret, the 2024 release of its Peat Smoked bottling, at 48.4% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The release marks the different sources of peat now used for the distillery's smoky whisky.
The peated spirit is matured in both first-fill and second-fill European and American oak casks.
The palate is sweet lemon, vanilla and salted caramel, and the finish is long, balancing smoke with oak.
