Glenturret 12 Year Old - 2025 Release (70cl, 46.2%)

A twelve-year-old Highland single malt from The Glenturret Distillery, and the centrepiece of the 2025 series. It matured mainly in European oak casks that previously held Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry, with American oak adding a more subtle influence. It was bottled in 2025 at 46.2%, non-chill-filtered and without added colour. Caramelised citrus and vanilla meet dried fruit, cinnamon and wood spice, with toffee apple, barley sugar, malt and sticky ginger cake. Ginger, nutmeg and toasted oak give the spicier, woody side. The nose has caramelised citrus, vanilla and cinnamon, with dried fruit beneath. The palate is salted caramel sweetness, dried fruit and spice. The finish is long and warming, with ginger, nutmeg and toasted oak.
