Eclosion is a Highland single malt from The Glenturret Distillery, released in 2026 as a global limited edition. It is an original distillery bottling at 46.2% in a 70cl bottle, non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
Most of the whisky matured in European Pedro Ximenez sherry casks, with a single American oak puncheon added to the mix. The PX casks give richness and structure, while the puncheon brings a lighter touch.
The nose is bright pineapple and stewed citrus, with vanilla cream and gingery oak. Lively citrus leads the palate, then more pineapple, a touch of orange oil and soft, cinnamon-dusted oak. The finish is warm and fruity, with calm, lingering oak.
