Glenturret Jaguar D-Type 35 Year Old is a Highland distillery bottling that pairs 35 years of maturation with a tribute to the Jaguar D-Type. Whisky maker Bob Dalgarno composed it from six selected casks and it is bottled at 40.3% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The casks were PX sherry European oak hogsheads, Oloroso sherry casks of American oak and refill American oak. Only 270 bottles were filled.
The nose brings dried dates and raisins with green apple and fine cinnamon. The palate is creamy with candied ginger, nutmeg and dark fruit sweetness, and the finish is long with spicy resin, a fine oiliness and aged oak.
