Glenturret Peated Edition is a single malt from the Highlands, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. Glenturret was founded in 1775 and is described as Scotland's oldest working distillery.
Here soft peat smoke sits alongside the distillery's elegant house style. The peat is aromatic and refined rather than the heavy smoke of Islay.
The nose offers soft peat smoke, vanilla, light wood and a little spice. The palate brings warm smoke, honey, malt and hints of roasted nuts, and the finish is medium long, smoky and slightly sweet.
