Ruadh Maor is an 11 year old peated Highland single malt from Glenturret, bottled independently by Càrn Mòr at 47.5% ABV. It was distilled in 2011 and matured in refill sherry hogsheads before bottling in 2022.
This is a limited release of 1,473 bottles, non-chill-filtered.
The nose offers smouldering oak, pickled grass and a perfume of peat. The palate is smoky and refined, with buttercake and white fruit. The finish stays smoky before turning sweet.
