Glenturret Triple Wood is a Highland single malt matured in American oak bourbon barrels together with European oak sherry-seasoned casks. This 2025 release is bottled at 45% in a 70cl bottle.
The style balances bourbon-cask sweetness against sherry-cask spice, with the oak at the centre of the profile and a light to medium body. Vanilla, toffee apple and barley sugar open the nose, followed by light malt, citrus peel and gentle orchard fruit. On the palate cinnamon, ginger and baking spice build over honeyed malt and soft caramel, and the finish brings more oak spice with a lingering gentle sweetness.
