Glenturret Triple Wood 2025 Release (70cl, 45%)

Glenturret Triple Wood is the entry bottling of the distillery's 2025 series, made at The Hosh near Crieff and bottled at 45% in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in three kinds of cask: sherry-seasoned American oak, sherry-seasoned European oak and bourbon. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. The distillery was founded in 1763 and works in small batches, distilling unusually slowly in hand-hammered copper stills. Vanilla, toffee and apple sit alongside malt and pale oak on the nose. The palate brings cinnamon, ginger cake, light fruit and woody spice, and the finish is soft and sweet with ripe fruit and pale oak.
