A 15 year old Tomatin from the Connoisseurs Choice range by independent bottler Gordon & MacPhail, bottled at 52.8% ABV.
The whisky was filled in 2009 into a refill bourbon barrel, cask number 1438, and bottled on 6 August 2024.
The nose is fragrant with lemon and orange peel, sweet hay and eucalyptus. On the palate, red apple mingles with soft ginger and barley sugar. The finish is medium in body, with a faint herbal edge.
