Gordon & MacPhail Connoisseurs Choice Tomintoul 2001 (70cl, 55.7%)

This is a Speyside single malt from Tomintoul, bottled by Gordon & MacPhail in its Connoisseurs Choice series. It was distilled in 2001, matured in a refill American hogshead, number 6273, and bottled on 10 June 2025 at a cask strength of 55.7%. A total of 263 bottles were filled. It is non-chill filtered and natural colour. The nose combines tropical fruit with cocoa powder and a soft herbal note. Pineapple and toasted almonds on the palate give way to honey, and the medium-bodied finish brings citrus and mature oak.
