This is an 11 year old Bunnahabhain from the Gordon & MacPhail Discovery range, in a 70cl bottle at 43% ABV.
The nose combines sherry aromas with orange marmalade, then dried fruit, with subtle spice running through creamy vanilla toffee. The palate is smooth and creamy, with gentle cinnamon warmth giving way to chewy dates, stewed plums and walnut. The finish brings milk chocolate, lingering dried fruit and hints of nuts.
